Combining blinds with sheers in living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms, concealing motorised blinds in custom recessed pelmets using technology to bring elegance, sophistication and warmth to an otherwise strong and robust palette.
Combining blinds with Sheers for the substantial dining space at The Sussex House allows the internal window furnishings to wow as well as provide practical elements of privacy and temperature control. They are a perfect example of what can be achieved with great planning. When our clients and our team work together with their architects and builders the results speak for themselves.
Our designers and technicians and the onsite construction team at mckimm ensured all elements fit and work perfectly. Products were specified to be functional and bur also to achieve the wow factor!
Combining Blinds with sheers provides style, privacy when needed as well as increasing the comfort factor and the energy efficiency in this amazing home. With such a large expanse of glass and hard surfaces we have been able to help to buffer sound by adding the warmth and softness with the volumes of fabric (Zepel Chance). Functionality and privacy come from the motorised blinds which have been discretely installed inside custom built recessed pelmets behind the sheer curtains adding warmth and privacy after dark.
